Berean Church of Free Seventh-day Adventists

(Formerly Tucker-Norcross Free SDA Church)

Tucker-Norcross Free SDA Church is a self-supporting Seventh-day Adventist Christian congregation that believes Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Saviour of the world. We regard the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and uphold all the fundamental beliefs or doctrines of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. This church began in the spring of 1996, and later merged with Berean Church of Free Seventh-day Adventists, whose roots go all the way back to 1916.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! We welcome everyone to worship with us. We want many more people to accept and acknowledge Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. All are therefore encouraged to be counted among those who “keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 12:17).

OUR GOAL IS PREPARATION: Knowing that troublous times are coming upon the inhabitants of the earth, all are encouraged to prepare for the refreshing or outpouring of the latter rain. Soon time shall be no more; now is our time to get ready for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. All must therefore be involved in preparing themselves and others for The Greatest Crisis Ever or The Time of Trouble Such As Never Was, since this precedes Christ second advent. All who pass this final test will be ready for the second advent of our beloved Redeemer. We must not forget that Jesus is coming again; He is even at the door.

OUR HISTORY: Our church was started by a few conscientious individuals, who decided to step out and share the gospel of Jesus Christ and the wonderful truths of the Three Angels’ Messages with others. Initially, Bible studies were given to interested persons and eventually more individuals and families began to participate in the study of God’s holy Word.  We operated as a branch Sabbath School for some time and the study group grew considerably. We became a full-fledged company, evolved into Tucker Adventist Mission-Church, then Tucker-Norcross Adventist Church, and finally after merging with another church called Berean Church of Free Seventh-day Adventists, our name changed to Tucker-Norcross Free SDA Church. The knowledge, dedication, and faith of church members, visitors, and friends continues to grow in the “law and the testimonies” (Isa. 8:20).

HEALTH REFORM: In connection with the preaching of the gospel, we also promote the health message God gave to His remnant church. We believe that the Lord is interested in the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Thus, we seek to preach the wholistic truths of the Third Angel’s Message including the eight natural laws of health. The Gilead Institute of America is the health education and outreach ministry of the church. Through the Institute, health and evangelistic activities are conducted including annual Campmeetings, national and international missionary trips, and other church activities. And more and more testimonies are given regarding the benefits of the practical teachings of the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy.

CHURCH ACTIVITIES: We have special speakers, special health classes, and Bible classes; we distribute literature and CDs, conduct a prison ministry, hold youth programs, host frequent social activities (house socials, hikes, outings, summer campout, etc.), and conduct home Bible studies. As a result of these projects our Church continues to grow.

NEW SANCTUARY: We are currently raising funds for our church building project. Please keep it in your prayers, and even consider making a donation toward our building project (using the Donate button at the top of this page) — we would greatly appreciate it!
