Jesus Solves Problems
Everywhere throughout the world today, there are people suffering and in need. Some may be sick, lonely, rejected, discouraged, disappointed, hungry, depressed, or abused. Often we think that all is well with those right near to us, but that may be the farthest thing from the truth.
If our spiritual eyes could be opened we would be surprised to see that there are many weeping hearts around us, people who are carrying heavy burdens that they can hardly bear themselves. And what makes this even more sad is that they don't know where to turn for help.
Dear friend, as you read this you may find it hard to identify with this truth, but believe me, this is a reality. On the other hand, you may be one of these very persons who is weighed down with problems that you find too hard to bear yourself, so you may know just what I mean.
Well, I have good news for you. JESUS SOLVES PROBLEMS. Yes my friend, the Creator of the universe knew ahead of time that man would depart from His will and fall into sin. God knew that Satan would increase his temptations and activities against man and that more sin would lead to many problems. Therefore our loving Father made provision for all His children. He sent His Son to redeem us.
The Scriptures tell us: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23.
On seeing Christ for the very first time John the Baptist declared, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." John 1:29.
And our beloved Saviour, Jesus Christ, Himself said, "Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28.
Let none continue to delay their going to the Master, Jesus Christ, for help-He is The Great Burden Bearer. He knows us better than we know ourselves and is aware of exactly what we need. Our Saviour is loving and all powerful, and He is always willing and able to solve any and all problems regardless of what they be.
Therefore, we should go to Him in simplicity and humility, confess our sins, ask Him for forgiveness and for the help that we need, resolve to do right, and believe and go forward trusting in His great love, knowing that "He is faithful that promised" (Heb. 10:23).
